On the occasion of the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Nikon Cooperation in 2017 Uli Koch, one of the most prominent Nikon collectors, has just completed the book “Nikon - 100 Anniversary”. It showcases Nikon items over a period of 100 years following the slogan „the image is the information“.
In addition to many cameras, lenses and matching accessories this book combines binoculars, microscopes, industrial lenses and other technical instruments in a comprehensive overview of the complete history of the company from 1917 to 2016.
The hardcover book has 416 pages and a size of about 12 x 8.4" (30x21cm), all printed in color. This illustrated book has 360 pictures of many different Nikon items with additional about 1,800 detailed pictures of those main item pictures.

384,000 Euro for the earliest Nikon camera
A Nikon One climbed from 90,000 to 384,000 Euro, the highest price ever paid for a camera from the long-standing Japanese manufacturer at an auction.
The record lot at the 30th WestLicht Camera Auction offers a sensational glimpse forward to the upcoming 100-year anniversary of the Japanese camera manufacturer. It is the earliest known Nikon camera to have survived anywhere in the world. Nikon began production in March 1948 (with the serial number 60922).
